Therapy for Relationship Concerns

A relationship can take up a lot of space in your mind. You might replay a conversation, wonder whether you’re asking for too much, or feel caught between keeping the peace and saying what you need. You may be unsure what you want from a relationship or how to move forward. You don’t need to have a clear answer before we begin.

Making sense of what keeps happening

Sometimes the same difficulty follows you from one relationship to the next, even when the people involved are different. We can look at those moments together: what you feel, what you expect, what you leave unsaid, and how you respond when you’re hurt or uncertain. Understanding a pattern can make it easier to see where you have choices.

Our work might involve boundaries, family dynamics, dating, a breakup, or a friendship that has changed. You may want to communicate more openly, make a difficult decision, or understand why a particular relationship feels so hard to step away from. There’s room for all of that.

I offer individual therapy for adults exploring their own relationship concerns. We can meet at my office at 185 Madison Avenue in Midtown Manhattan, near Murray Hill, or virtually anywhere in New York.

If this sounds like the kind of space you’re looking for, let’s arrange a free 15-minute phone consultation. Practical details about fees and insurance are in the FAQ.
