I recommend calling your insurance provider and asking the following:

Do I have "out-of-network" mental health insurance benefits?

What is my deductible and has it been met?

What is my "co-insurance"?

How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?

What is the coverage amount per session?

Is approval required from my primary care doctor?

If you are working with me out of network, you will automatically receive a “superbill.” This is an invoice of your sessions. If you have out of network benefits, you can send this over to your insurance provider for reimbursement.
