Anxiety Therapy in Midtown Manhattan

You may look like you have things together while your mind rarely gives you a break. A small decision turns into hours of second-guessing. A conversation is over, but you’re still replaying it. Even when something goes well, you may find yourself bracing for what could go wrong next.

We can slow that down together. Therapy is a place to understand what your anxiety is responding to, how it shapes your choices, and what might help you feel less caught in the same loop.

Working with the pressure you put on yourself

I work with thoughtful adults whose anxiety often sits alongside perfectionism, demanding careers, or concerns about relationships. We’ll pay attention to the thoughts and expectations that keep you on edge, as well as the experiences that have made those expectations feel necessary.

I draw on CBT, REBT, ACT, and relational therapy. That may mean examining a belief you keep returning to, finding ways to tolerate uncertainty, or practicing a different response when worry takes over. We’ll choose an approach that fits your situation, rather than expecting you to fit a particular method.

You can see me in person at 185 Madison Avenue in Midtown Manhattan, near Murray Hill, or meet virtually from anywhere in New York.
